Our Town & Population

The town of Elliston was incorporated on June 15th, 1965 but has been permanently settled since 1806. The first town council was composed of the following: Gerald Tilley, Mayor; Richard Hobbs, Deputy Mayor; Arthur W. Coles, Roy Tilley, Samuel White, William J. Goodland, and Douglas Tilley, Councillors.

Elliston celebrates 50 years of being an incorporated municipality on June 15th, 2015.
