Obituary TILLEY, Rex - Died at his home in Eastport on Sunday, May 3, 1998. Born in Elliston in 1914, youngest son of the late Robert and Emily Jane Tilley. Flt. Lieut. R.A.F. World War II Veteran, 125 NF Squadron. Beloved husband of Jill. Much loved father of Jane (Thomas Smith), Susan (David Weiser), St. John`s and Joanna (Ian Gray), Calgary. Dear grandfather of Jenny, Katie, Claire and Ben, Jonathan and Andrea and Michael, Ian and Alex. Predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. Survived by his sisters: Nellie Frazee and Sophie Zawada of Springfield, Mass., U.S.A.; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 5th after 6:30 p.m. at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5th from The Carnell Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held during the 125 Nfld. Squadron Annual Reunion which will take place in Eastport September 11-13th. May 05, 1998
