As the 19th century came to a close, it wouldn't be long before residents of the Elliston area would be called upon to enlist and fight alongside other allied world powers in global conflicts.

 

Throughout the 20th century the town of Elliston (and its residents) played a valuable part both on the front lines and in defensive and precautionary measures. Please see the different wartime periods listed for information on the role our town has played in militarized warfare over the years.
